Google からカトリーナ被害地域の Google Earth 用公式衛星写真 Overlay がリリース

下記の「公式情報」が先ほどリリースされた。

Google、DigitalGlobe、GlobeXplorer の3社が協力して、カトリーナ被害の衛星写真を撮って出しでアップデートする、ある意味『公式 Mashup』を Google Earth、Google Maps、ImageAtlas をベースに大至急リリースすることを発表した。

斜めに線が入って色が変わっているのでよくわかると思うが、左下の緑色っぽい部分が Google Earth のオリジナルの衛星写真（つまりカトリーナが襲来する遥か以前）、中央から右上の大部分の青っぽい部分が、NOAA が31日に撮影したイメージを Overlay したものである。

もう、家がめちゃめちゃに壊れていることがよくわかる。
ひどい・・・・

これから毎日、撮って出しでイメージが出てくることになると思う。
